Visitor insights is the most underrated feature in the Pro plan. This post covers what it actually tells you: traffic trends, source breakdown, device split, visit duration, and what to change on your page after you read them.
## Traffic trends: the pulse of your page
The trend line is the most basic and most useful chart. It plots daily visits, and you can see at a glance: did that new update bump the numbers? Did the copy change move anything? Do weekends always dip? Do not stare at single-day numbers. Trends, not spikes. One day is noise, two weeks of rising line is a signal.
## Source breakdown: where visitors come from
Visitors do not appear out of thin air. The source split tells you whether traffic comes from search engines, social media, or direct visits. The value is attribution: how much traffic did that post on Twitter actually drive? How much does Google send? Know the source, and you know where to put effort.
## Devices and geography: who is looking, on what
Device split and geography answer two sides of one question: mobile or desktop? Which timezone? If mobile dominates, your page must look good on a phone. If one timezone dominates, you can time your posts better.
## After the data: three moves
First, pin or strengthen whatever page gets the most visits. Second, cut or fix whatever has the highest bounce. Third, act on the source split: if search drives traffic, write more; if social does, engage more. Data on its own produces nothing. Decisions made after reading data produce everything.
