Service Pros: Homepages for Coaches & Trainers

GuideAugust 2026

Coaches and trainers face a unique challenge: your product is yourself. Unlike product companies, you cannot ship features or run A/B tests on pricing. What you can control is how you present yourself online.

A service professional homepage needs three things that product pages do not: ① Credibility signals — certifications, client testimonials, years of experience; ② Personality — visitors need to feel they would enjoy working with you; ③ Clear next steps — booking a call, downloading a guide, or sending a message. The best coach homepages blend all three without feeling salesy.

Generic bios read like resumes. "I am a certified life coach with 10 years of experience" tells nothing about what it is like to work with you. Instead, lead with a specific moment. "I started coaching after my own career burnout changed how I thought about work." Details matter because they help visitors self-select. Someone reading about burnout recovery knows immediately whether you are the right coach.

Testimonials are short quotes. Case studies are mini-stories. Both have value, but they serve different purposes. "Working with Sarah changed my life" is warm but vague. A case study walks through the before, during, and after. Use both. Testimonials for social proof on the homepage. Case studies in a dedicated section or blog posts.
